Vase crafted from >Holm Oak sourced from the Monfragüe National Park in western Spain, renowned for its stunning and diverse birdlife. This particular piece of wood comes from an aged Encina tree, showcasing its natural beauty and history. The holes in the vase are a result of oak trunk boring worms, which are the metamorphosis of the Cerambyx beetles, a plague to the Iberian stone oaks.
In this case when I was turning the wood the worms were still alive and creeped out of the wood due to the high rpm.
This vase comes with a recycled cut off glass vase so it can be used for flowers
